Welcome to the College Football Season

Oregon and Boise State were less than impressive to start off the season. The above was the only highlight worth showing of the whole game. Oregon is a lot worse than anyone thought they were. Way overrated for sure.

I know it's old news, but has anyone seen or heard what Byron Hout said to Blount? I'm still curious.

I thought Hout should be punished too (other than staying late after practice to run or do up-downs or whatever), but Chris Petersen made a good point that he shouldn't have to punish based on how someone else reacted. It could depend on what Hout said, but I realized if someone bumped an opposing player between plays of a game and talked some trash, you'd normally have the refs breaking it up and maybe giving out a 15-yard penalty, but they wouldn't get suspended.

Bumping someone between plays and being a classless idiot after defeating another team where there was already tension are two different things to me. And you are partially responsible for what you incite like that. Like if you ran a red light and a car was coming versus no car coming, you are responsible either way. So if you taunt and nothing happens or you taunt and start a fight, you are responsible either way. Blount was partially punished because of how the media reacted to it. That's life.

And what he said was throwing something Blount had said about beating BSU (earlier in the week Blount had said this) in his face after the game.
